Nihil Declarandum

I named this blog in latin, because I’m in that kind of latin mood and well ‘omnia dicta fortiora si dicta Latina’. I felt the well known phase associated with air travel nothing to declare was ironic, in that I have quite a few things to declare, I’ve had two blogs in a state of semi-completion for a few weeks now, just needing to have the finishing touches added to them. So now while I’m supposed to be revising… I thought it a good time to finish & publish them, in what I suspect may be the last blogs before I fly home.

So now I’m off home in 10 days I am all set for christmas, all I need now is to get my finals out of the way, I have five finals, which I am semi to fully prepared for. Unfortunately my old revision habits die hard; I really need my guy best friend here to keep me on task like the last set of exams. Still it’s not long time I see him again. I’m procrastinating like crazy and it’s really not helpful of the cafe to give away free ‘revision cookies’; now I just feel ill, as I put too much chocolate and ‘candy’ on them! I have a dodgeball game in half an hour and I really haven’t done all that much in the way of productive revision; Still my room is spotless!

I think the finals here are pretty much the same as back home except that the canadians have them before christmas so that there is no revision breathing down your neck while one is trying to enjoy the festive season.

I have found a house for next semester and it is all sorted, I am to share with a friend who is out here with me, in a house of six. I still need my portfolio summaries signed by my professors; one should really get on that. I think I shall draw them up after dodgeball.
